Bullion coins are an excellent way to invest in precious metals. Gold, silver, and platinum are all available in the form of bullion coins, minted here in the U.S., in Canada, South Africa, Austria, Australia, China, and other countries. American Gold Exchange offers bullion coins from many different countries, always at the lowest prices.
American Gold Eagles, American Silver Eagles, and American Platinum Eagles are the most popular forms of bullion coins in the U.S. American Gold Eagles are available in 1 ounce, 1/2 ounce, 1/4 ounce, 1/10 ounce sizes. American Silver Eagles are available only in the 1 ounce size. American Platinum Eagles are available in 1 ounce, 1/2 ounce, 1/4 ounce and 1/10 ounce sizes.
We also offer a variety of other 1-ounce gold bullion coins: Canadian Maple Leafs, South Africa Krugerrands, Austrian Philharmonics, and others. American Gold Eagles, however, offer benefits to customers in the United States that most of these other gold bullion coins do not.

How to order bullion coins:
- Our bullion coins are priced in direct relation to the market price of the metals. Just as stock prices change minute by minute or hour by hour, our bullion prices can fluctuate on a daily or even hourly basis. This way, you never pay more than the going market price plus a small premium for minting and distribution. Please call 1-800-613-9323 for current pricing.
- Just like buying stocks, when you place an order for bullion we lock you in at the price at that moment. We give you an order confirmation number, which guarantees your price. If the market price goes up, you pay no more.
- You send payment in the form of personal check, cashiers check, money order, or bank transfer. We age personal checks for 10 days, cashiers checks and money orders for 3 days, before shipping your order. But don’t worry, you’re price is guaranteed. We do not accept credit cards for gold bullion purchases. The fee charged by the credit card companies exceeds, in most cases, the small margin we earn on bullion.
- We ship your order by registered, insured U.S. mail. In our 22 years of experience, we’ve found this to be the safest, most convenient, and most economical method available. Registered mail travels under lock and key within the U.S., separate from the regular mail, and is signed for every step of the way. You must sign for the package when it is delivered to you. If you are not available to sign, don’t worry. The postman will NOT leave it lying around like UPS or Fed Ex sometimes does. You will receive a delivery notification that you can use to claim your package at your local Post Office.
