$20 Liberty gold coins in gem-quality Mint State 65 condition combine extreme scarcity, large gold content, and low prices to create an outstanding value in classic US gold coins.

Out of an original mintage of more than 60 million, only 16,139 survivors are known in gem-quality Mint State 65 condition (PCGS + NGC, 9/18/2017). They are many times scarcer than the $20 Saint-Gaudens MS65, which is one reason why we prefer this coin.

During periods of peak demand these coins have skyrocketed in price because of their exceptional scarcity and collector interest. In December 2009, whith gold just over $1,200, they traded for $6,255 each! At today's extremely low prices they offer a lot of bang for the buck!

As always, we cherry-picked the national market for the highest-quality coins. Rest assured that you will not find better coins at better prices. And unlike most forms of gold bullion, they are exempt from broker reporting requirements, making them financially private.

Key Benefits

Only 16,139 coins survive in certified MS65. This true scarcity can mean higher premiums during periods of increased demand.
Previous market high of $6,255 in December 2009. Combines low price with huge upside potential.
Private, liquid, secure. Unlike most forms of gold bullion, they are exempt from broker reporting requirements.
