$20 Saint-Gaudens double eagles are often considered one of the most beautiful of all U.S. gold coins. In Mint State 62, they combine a beautiful design, true scarcity, large gold content, and low prices to create an excellent value for bulk gold buyers.
Solid performance, low prices
Minted from 1907 to 1933, $20 Saints were the crucial building blocks of expanding U.S. financial power early 20th century. Out of an original mintage of more than 60 million, most have been lost to the ravages of time and the melting pot. Only 354,919 survivors are known in Mint State 62 condition (PCGS + NGC, 12/28/2016). This true scarcity can mean higher premiums during periods of increased demand.
Unlike most forms of gold bullion, they are exempt from broker reporting requirements. In our opinion, they're better than bullion for bulk gold buyers.
