We recommend Argentina 5 peso Argentinos in Extra Fine to Almost Uncirculated (XF-AU) condition as a better alternative to modern bullion coins for bulk gold investors. They offer all of the benefits of bullion plus additional benefits like constant collector demand, complete financial privacy, and the potential for additional premiums based on fundamental scarcity. Yet they're trading today for little more bullion, making them an excellent value.

Minted from 1881 to 1896, Argentinos are almost the same size and weight as the popular British Sovereign but far scarcer in the market. National ideals of freedom and unity are reflected in the design, which features a portrait of Liberty on the obverse and the traditional seal of Argentina, with two hands joining together, on the reverse.

True scarcity, excellent value

Out of an uncertain original mintage, most Argentinos have been lost to the ravages of time and the melting pot. Relatively few have survived in XF-AU condition, making them scarcer in the market than many of European gold coins we trade in bulk. Such scarcity can drive premiums substantially higher during periods of increased demand.

Gold is enjoying its most aggressive and sustained bull market in a quarter-century. Experts are predicting gold prices as high as $1,500 to $2,000 in coming years. We urge you to take advantage of this temporary buying opportunity to increase your core position with these classic coins. When gold breaks out again, you'll be glad you did!

Key Benefits
Better than bullion. For virtually the same price per ounce as modern bullion coins, our Argentinos offer extra benefits like limited supply, constant collector demand, complete financial privacy, and extra profit potential because of scarcity.
Scarcity means leverage. Unlike bullion coins, which are minted in unlimited numbers, Argentinos are in severely limited supply. This scarcity can mean extra leverage to a rising gold price, with premiums based on collector demand.
Low prices, excellent value. Few investors are aware of these classic European-styled gold coins, so their prices remain unusually low. Trading today near their bullion value, Argentinos are a bargain!
